I would like to know 2 things.

1- When someone pass's his/her Citizenship Interview, and he/she receives

Form N-652 (Interview result) checked on (Congratulations! your application has been recommended for approval ==> If final approval is granted. you will be notified)

what does this mean? If final approval is granted. you will be notified) ?? i mean it can happen for them to change their mind after approval ?

2- is there any time for the oath letter? .. i was told next month there is an oath ceremony. so if next month, when am i expecting to receive it?

You passed the test, you were not approved yet. You have been RECOMMENDED for approval.

After your test your papers are sent to another desk, where a higher up person in the gov food chain is going to either approve it or not.

You will get a letter to attend the oath ceremony when you are approved.

Up in the air about that final approval as my wifes' IO told her it is sent off someplace for final approval. But learned later that final approval is done by the IO's supervisor at your field office.

That brings about the question, exactly who is being approved, you or your IO, can be the latter to make sure your IO completed their part to the satisfaction of their supervisor. But nevertheless, if you IO didn't do their job right, you would have to go back.

80 different field offices with 80 different protocols on the oath ceremony. Should be standard in my opinion, but all depends on the mood of the office manager. Not even sure if God knows the answer to this.

That's standard procedure.

After the interview, a supervisor doing the final paperwork has another glimpse over the applications looking for errors that might have been made, which is highly unlikely. The interview letter usually comes 2 to 3 weeks later in the mail.

Thanks alot. Bob. i was just wondering. because on N-652 Form it says. Congratulations!... and then, IF final approval granted! sounds weird?
