It's $1,070. Fee differs for children depending on their age and if they are applying at the same time as their adjusting parent or not.

In 2007 the USCIS combined the AOS, EAD, and AP fees for a sum of $1010. The 2007 fee increases averged about 60% for most areas. The AOS fee was increased another $60 last year.

Then there will be fees for Removal of Conditions and Naturalization. If naturalization is not done then the 10 year green card must be renewed.

The USCIS is self funded.

Think that's bad, how about paying $450 to file an I-90 to replace a lost green-card, when you do get the card, DO NOT LOOSE IT.

Probably do like most do, file the card away is a safe place and carry a photo-copy of the dang thing, even though the rules say to no do that.

FEES went up November 23 as a "Thanksgiving Gift" USCIS is saying THANK-YOU VERY MUCH, or Muchas Gracias!
