I have a questions, hope somebody could answer. I plan to petition my mom, but not now, I want her to visit us first in US for her to see our place, the environment and see what is Kentucky is all about, then if she will like it then we will like her to be petition and move with us. she is 61 years old, unemployed but yes she has a bank account that joint with me since i was in the philippines, and our account is in "OR" for two person. and my husband keep sending her a monthly allowance since i move in US. my mom own a house and lot, the water bill, electric bill, cable and internet are all in her name, she have a visa before going to Korea when we invited her to visit us in military base with my husband. how helpful that she has a visa before as a tourist in Korea and now we are planning to invite her as a tourist here in USA, we would like to take her in florida disneyland, and going to Ohio and south carolina to visit my mother in law and relatives, and to visit the Area of Tennessee as well. im a fulltime mom and theres no way that i would leave her alone in the house, we can provide her plane ticket and our house to stay.

hope to hear all your concern.

What is your question exactly? A tourist visa is the correct visa for a visit.

AOS for my husband

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

The " . . . .then if she will like it then we will like her to be petition and move with us." part scares me. Do yourself a favor and inquire about health care cost for a 61 year-old woman and decide if you can afford that.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.
