Hey Folks,

quick question, my citizenship was acquired through naturalization,

on the I-129F Form for K-1 Visa,

On Part A, Number 10, the question is asking for

Number of certificate. And question 11 is asking for

certificate number.

On a certificate of Naturalization there are actually 2 numbers

one is on top in red which just says No.9230823****

and the other says INS Registration No.A03982***

Which one of the two am I suppose to put on the form?

please advise,

Thanks

The INS number is your Alien Registration Number or "A" number. I think the other number is the certificates number.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I am a Citizen of the United States of America. 04/16/13

The A number is your alien number. It goes in 8b. The other number is your naturalization certificate number. The later blank above number 11 is not applicable. It's for people who obtained citizenship through their parents.
