Mom passed the interview... The consul only asked her two questions:

1. Who is your petitioner?

2. how often do you talk with your daughter?

..then babam! Stamped and she was told to go ahead and confirm the delivery shipping address of her visa at window 39(?)!

Does Anybody have any idea when do we get IL? My parents petition were case complete on march 18, 2014. Does it usually take this long to get an interview date?

I call NVC this morning and finally got both of my parents case # and IIN #. They said to wait until i recieve an email fist then i can go and pay the fee. If i go in right now, it will say case terminated cuz it was just entered yesterday. They said since the case is for my parents and it is wife and husband, i only need to pay just $88 instead of $176 (88mom+88dad). The other $88 will be credited to the 2nd case#..

Is this the same for other who did I-130 for both parents?

So I know I'm not quite at the stage to be sending documents to NVC yet, but I have noticed that most people are sending the IV documents after completing the IV payment and I have a few questions.

1. Who is responsible for sending the IV docs, the beneficiary or the petitioner?

2. Is it best to have my mom send me all the documents for me to send once i pay the IV fee?

3. Are the originals being sent to NVC or copies.

if u are the agent yes, your mom will send u her civil docs and u will send them to nvc.. they are asking originals or certified true copies and make sure provide also photocopy of everything and send to them..but for passport just photocopy them it doesnt need to be certified

if u are the agent yes, your mom will send u her civil docs and u will send them to nvc.. they are asking originals or certified true copies and make sure provide also photocopy of everything and send to them..but for passport just photocopy them it doesnt need to be certified ..

Yes, when you have paid the $230 IV fee, print out the bar coded sheet to attach to the IV documents that you will send. Documents need to be original or certified copies, make sure you include a police report/certificate from your country as well.

Thanks guys!!! I already had her getting all the documents together once I got the approval from USCIS. I'll have her send everything to me once she gets them and then all she needs to do is bring copies to her interview right??

the sooner you have the IV documents that you need to send, the better. i waited last minute. the only thing i am waiting for is the UK police certificate that my mum has to send me, i already have the rest of the original docs that I will submit later this month.
