Just called NVC and finally they receive both case last Tuesday 3/4/2014. They said 20 days to call back for NVC case# and Invoice#

I-130 for both parents:
USCIS Journey (9 months NOA2)
05/13/2013 Sent, 05/17/2013 NOA1
12/16/2013 Cases transferred from NBC to NSC
02/18/2014 NOA2 Hardcopy, 02/20/2014 USCIS sent to DoS
NVC Journey: NVC Process (4 months from NOA2 - case completed)
04/04/2014 Call NVC and got both parents case # and IIN #
04/07/2014 Complete DS-261 for both parents (Choice of Agent), Got email from NVC to pay Affidavit of Support (AOS), AOS Paid online, $88 fee
04/09/2014 IV Paid online, $460 fee both parents
04/12/2014 Complete DS-260 for both parents
04/16/2014 Express Mail AOS and IV Package (mail all these in one envelope)
05/07/2014 Both parents AOS approved
05/19/2014 Both parents IV get a checklist (need certified birth cert, marriage cert, and petitioner certified marriage cert)
06/11/2014 Express Mail Checklist package
07/02/2014 Received email from NVC that both CASE are COMPLETED
07/15/2014 Mail ALL packets to parents (copy of I-130, NOA2, IV, AOS, & DS260 confirmation page), my original marriage & birth certificate to parents
07/17/2014 Checklist on DS260, Part 1 - fault alarm, 07/29/2014 Checklist on DS260, Part 1 - fault alarm
10/09/2014 NVC email INTERVIEW DATE 11/25 @ 7am - 17mths from USCIS / Doctor Postpone Interview

01/22/2015 Interviewed: Administrative Processing because the criminal record translation missing one digit of Employee's ID. Meet again at 2pm Monday
01/26/2015 Gave corrected Criminal Record to consulate. Consulate asked parents to pick up VISA on Feb 6th at 11AM

02/03/2015 CEAC Status: Visa Issued, Visa pick up change to Feb 13th @ 11AM

Yes, AOS I-864 for each parent. Now, you will have to wait for the NVC number and Invoice Identification number to be assigned, before you can do anything else, it takes 2-8 weeks. You can start call

The petitions for parents are separate, though, and only one parent is listed on each petition. My guess would be multiple persons applies to the beneficiary with dependents, i.e. IR-1/2 or K-3/4. AO

That's what I got with my mom's case. Case complete 02/24/14, mailed 02/26/14 embassy received case 02/28/14. The embassy called her (03/04/14) to give her a date. They told her they will send her the interview letter ASAP so she can do her medical.

So I believe they will be calling your mom to give her the interview date.

I will have my mom do an advanced medical. The one in the Manila allows for you to have an early medical as long as you have the case number ready and all that stuff.

Lol, I had to warn my mom too because she's downright feisty and rude. I think she'll get her stuff in a day or 2 so she should be good.

Thanks though Kerran, i was just looking at our situations now, how anxious we have been since this journey started, and comparing it to someone having to wait for 10 years. Hopefully your mum's interview will go well. please share the good news and process with us.

Waiting for a visa is what takes time. Thank you and I'll post as we progress.

It depends thou. If your siblings are still single, and over 21, it will take about 6-7 years to get a Visa. I got 2 cases in process in my family now. If they are not single, then it will take you about 10-11 years. ( 1 case in process in my fam too ... I know I got a big family ) ...

Thanks for your response, I am looking at best option to begin helping my family members, all of them are over 21, few are not married, while majority are married with kids. I was asking myself "should i a US citizen file for them, or should my mum who will be a resident file for them", so its a confused game for now as one have responsibilities to shoulder. Your mom could file for those who is single she get a Greencard. Then when she become USC, all you need just update your mom status from Greencard to USC. That's what my aunt did for her daughter.

Your mom could file for those who is single she get a Greencard. Then when she become USC, all you need just update your mom status from Greencard to USC. That's what my aunt did for her daughter.

Finally, my Dad was assigned a new case number. Still waiting on the Immigrant Visa to be invoiced for both of them, but they said approx. 10 business days, so we will wait a little longer.

I-130 for both parents

March 28th 2013 - Priority date/ NOA 1
November 14th 2013 - Transferred to Nebraska Service Center

January 7th 2014 - Case changed online to approved for both

January 8th 2014 - case changed to shipped to NVC

January 9th 2014 - case changed to NOA 2 mailed

January 10th 2014 - Received the hardcopy of the NOA 2 stating that NVC would issue a case number in 30 days approx.

January 21st 2014 - Case Received at NVC

February 26th 2014 - Case numbers and IIN number received - Wrong embassy code assigned...now waiting for new case numbers.

March 3rd 2014 - Filled in DS-261 for both parents

March 5th 2014- AOS available, paid and submitted AOS packet.

March 6th 2014 - USPS shows packet was delivered at NVC

March 10th 2014 - AOS shows as paid in the CEAC portal/AOS logged into system as being received by NVC.

March 11th 2014 - New case number assigned for my Dad.

March 20th 2014 - Paid IV fee for my Mum.

March 25th 2014 - AOS accepted by NVC with no checklist.

March 26th 2014 - Filled in and submitted DS-260 for my Mum

March 31st 2014 - AOS found in my Mum's file for my Dad - accepted and placed into his file/IV fee available for my Dad and Paid.

April 1st - Mailed all civil documents to NVC for both parents.

April 3rd: IV fee shows as paid in portal/submitted DS-260 for my Dad.

April 22nd: checklist issued for civil documents - NVC error ...

April 23rd: sent another certified copy of my marriage certificate

April 24th: Case complete! :)

April 30th 2014 - Medical scheduled for parents at Knightsbridge in London

June 11th: Interview at London Embassy - Approved :)

Aw, congratulations!!!! (post some pics, we want to see that little peanut!)

The reason I was asking is that NVC forwarded the papers of my mom already but I don't know how to track the package if it was delivered already or not.

When I called to ask if how am I going to be notified for mom's interview, that USEM-Manila, will. I don't know if by email or by phone or they will call mom or not.. I have no idea.
