Should I Be Worried?

Ok we submitted our I-130 Sept 22, we still have not heard anything from the Montreal Consulate. Should i be worried by now or would you say that this is normal and to just keep waiting? Just very anxious to start seeing some progress on this.

did you receive the noa1 then it's normal you have to wait more you sent it in sept,

No I have not. I have not received anything whats so ever.

Montreal is the ONLY consul that does spousal visas.

Considering you haven't even gotten a NOA1 though and you filed SEPT. You should follow up with it, that does not seem normal to not even have an NOA1 by now.

Are you sure they got it? How did you pay?

We paid using credit card or debit (can't remember which most likely credit card.) on the the day we filed our I-130 at the Halifax Consulate. We even noted a few days later that it was taken on a bank statement.

Have you heard anything yet? My husband (USC) and I are in a similar situation. We sent the I-130 to the Toronto embassy in September...had our inital "approval" interview at the consulate on November 19. They were sending the info to Montreal and said to expect our first package with more info along with NOA1 to be completed within 4-6 weeks. We haven't heard anything yet at all either. Granted, we are hoping the holidays in there are the culprit to the processing but you never know.

I sent an email asking if it possibly got lost in transit but they won't answer any inquiries of the sort.
