Since I am the petitioner I assume I will be my wife's agent. What I was wondering if all the mail and information cames to me is my wife left out of the process until her interview? Or will she be also in contact with NVC or Her consulate. The reason I am doing the paperwork is because Republic Georgia it takes almost 30 days to receive or send priority mail.

Also I was wondering on the DS-230 if it's okay to have her sign like 5 copies of form 1 and I do the rest of the paperwork.

I have all the information and I was going to have her mail everything that was translated and notarized from her official documents.

Then submit as the IV package.

Should I have her make a second set off her originals and use this at her interview or when I send in the packet will this be forwarded to the consulate in Georgia.

I also assume that the only other documentation needed after the I-130 is approved from the petitioner is the 864 AOS form.

USCIS has only had the I-130 for 2 weeks but I want to stay ahead of the game..

Is there a difference between Priority Date and Notice Date.

My Priority date is November 29th, 2010

Notice Date is December 8th, 2010

**Yes, she can be active in the process. Just insure that her ID is entered.

**I had my wife sign, in some instances, blank documents that would be needed. Before submitting original or certified copies make sure they are indeed necessary.

**All the documents you submit should be with your file at the interview. However, in Bogota they did ask for all the originals again but quickly gave them back to us once they verified they had originals. Best to have the copies...we had several certified copies of all our documents. Never know when in the future you may need them.

Don't worry about the priority date time...it does not apply to family-based visas.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
