You could try calling your senator. I tried calling my congressman and one of the senators of my state and they didn't even respond to my inquiry. So I contacted the other senator, and their office was willing to help. I am still inside my 5 months so they didn't give me any more info than I already knew, but said to call them back after the 5 months and they will help me. It's all about calling the right people, which can be difficult to find.

Senator Lemieux didn't ignore you. His term is already over. There should be another senator taking office January 3rd.
