Verification of employment

I sent with the AOS package a faxed copy of my employment verification. It is typically used when banks want to know the status of employment for loans, ect. but does not include the persons salary.

I started thinking about it and I decided to contact Human Relations again and they said they would send me a letter of employment showing my salary because I explained to them why I needed it. It should arrive this week in the mail.

My question is will the NVC except the faxed copy that shows that I am currently employed but does not show my salary? I have a lot of proof including pay stubs and 3 years of income tax returns and W2's for that period.

Do you think they be okay with what I sent or will I get a RFE for a more formal letter from my company?

Can I send the letter to the NVC with an AOS coversheet and not wait for an RFE?

Better to wait for the possible RFE so that your submission will get matched up with your file.

Question: Has this been your employer for the 3 years of your taxes? I am only curious because that could work in your favor. Traditionally employment letters state your basic income. If I were you I would call NVC and ask to speak with a tier 2 human. Waiting for a possible RFE I don't think is correct. Maybe the tier 2 can give you a fax number and reference number so they can merge it now. In the least it won't slow your case down.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

We applied for AOS recently(after K1) but we also have the same problem as the OP...we will just wait if there will be RFE(although we are really praying that we will not get one..lol) so that it will get match up with our file...God bless us...
