NVC will take 1-2 months

Your 129F will be closed at NVC if your I130 reaches NVC at the same time, were they both approved on the same day?

Good luck

Your I-130 would proceed through to approval. Be aware though that the USCIS system is real spotty right now on sending approval or any other notices. I just now was emailed an approval notice for an I-130 that still shows as "initial review" on the USCIS site. Chances are, both petitions were approved and you'll know that soon when the hard copy notices arrive.

If truly only your I-129F was approved, the K3 path will proceed. You may simply ignore that and wait for the I-130 or if given the opportunity, go ahead and pursue the K3. If you lost something that is needed to complete the process, you'll need to reacquire it. Chiefly, that would include the original marriage certificate and any divorce papers for the foreign spouse. Take a look at the official documents needed and if you don't have them, get them.

PS: The I-129F is not a "K3 application". It's a petition. Approved petitions clear the way to apply for visas.

Give it about a week and begin calling NVC to see the status cases. In all likelihood the I-130 has been approved as well

Good luck

ok on the chance that the I-130 is approved, doesnt that change the stuff i have to do. i know it will still be sent to the nvc, but the I-130 is processed for a green card, not a visa right? would that take alot longer?

Please click on the word Guides at the top of any page here. The I-130 will be processed for a CR1 visa, which when used will trigger conditional permanent residence and a two-year green card. What you DO is in the CR1 guide.

I went through all of NVC without getting any paperwork from them. If you wait for paperwork from them you'll be waiting a long time. Follow the link above to get through NVC quickly

Good luck

Again, you may wait for them to send you papers but this will add weeks, if not months, on to your case. READ the link I gave you and ask questions. Your next step is to call NVC to get your case number

Follow the link

Good luck

Isn't K3 administrative closed? Am also from honduras and at the beginning of this process my husband and I were also confuse in filling the K3 or CR1, but at the end after hours of searching the net and consulting we decided for CR1. But anyways good luck to you,,! Hope next year we can be with our husbands!!
