Hello everyone,

I can now officially add us as December filers. My husband gave us both the best Christmas gift possible and was able to file our I-130 today!

The post office had closed before he got a chance to put everything together so he ran straight to FedEx. I sure hope that's ok and our application will be accepted. ??

Anyway, Happy Holidays everyone! Good luck to us all.

Am excited, I found the December filers. I have been a member of VJ for two days now and have felt such a huge relief because I do not have to go through this alone. I filed our I-130 and received the receipt dated 12/16. I am excited and am now focused on gathering the neccesary documents to prove we have a bona fide marriage. Since we are Nigerian filers and I have read the horror stories I feel a bit intimidated but am sure if I cross my t's and dot my i's we should be fine. The phone records is what is worrying me but I have my husband doing his thing on his side and I am doing what I have to do here in the US. I just pray it is enough. Julius and I have decided that I will come and visit him again in April, this will give us the opportunity to spend some quality time together and take a whole lot more pictures. I wish that Nigeria would allow it's citizens to visit during this process but realize that option is just not for us. I have so many questions but I guess I will post them in a different thread. Thank you so much for being such a great support to everyone. I do not believe in luck so I will not wish everyone goodluck but will pray for God's favor. thanks...
