TOTALLY fake - I played the trumpet through college.

If you know anything about brass instruments, the lips

have to make FIRM contact with the mouthpiece.

You'll also notice that the dog's master

is not fingering the keys.

A French horn is not a bugle and the dog can't play

while licking the mouthpiece.

It's pretty obvious to me that the dog is forming the ebouchure with her tongue. and the superior flexablility of the dogs tongue permits a wide range of notes without

use of the keys. If you could lick your own nose, you would probably be a better trumpet player. I think If you look closely you'll see the dog is really playing.
