Hello to all, I mailed my K1 Visa to Dallas, TX lockbox on the 24 Oct and I have confirmation that they recieved it on the 28th Oct. Well 30 plus days later, no check cashed and when I called them last friday they said that they don't even have it so I should resubmitt my whole packet. I don't know what to do anymore. The 3rd party company who assisted me putting the packet together said that Dallas is having major delays and that some other clients are having the same issues. I DON'T CARE about other clients, so my quetion is what should I do? Should I resubmitt??? Or give them another week. Please any insight would be nice...

Hi there,

I don't have any advice because we are in exactly the same situation except they have not yet told us if they have the package.

We posted ours on the 19th October and each time we phone or email we are told to wait some more!!

We have been told to file again, to not file again and to do what we feel is best!!

It's so very frustrating, 7 weeks have been wasted.

Tomorrow we are going to make a final phone call and then we will be submitting our package again and cancelling the original cheque.

Good luck to you - Good luck to us!!!

IF everyone is delayed at getting into the system then you are not delayed really you are in line just not at a point where you have a case number. There is always a rush when their are fee changes as people either submit to avoid an increase or wait until the day after to save money. You could send a new package and if the original package pops up then cancel the check to the second one if it is lost then you aren't waiting forever for it to be declared MIA.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I am soo frustrated as well, I don't know what else to do I mean next week will be 6 weeks for me and nothing. Some people say that they just haven't got to it because Dallas is really unorganized but that within two more weeks there will be some movement. Like I mentioned I went thru a company to do mine and several of his clients are in the same boat in fact one client got the same run around and their check cleared in about 7 weeks. On the other hand I have my fiancee frustrated with this whole ordeal as well. I feel like you that I have wasted 5 weeks already which ad to the 6 month timeline ordeal. Please keep posting and hopefully you will see some movement soon. Best wishes!!

Yeah this is what the company that put my package together is telling me, basically it's just a delay all around and they just have not got to my package. Well at this point they have not even cashed my check so the USCIS is telling me to submit a new package so thats not comforting at all. I was told to give another week or so just in case. This is terrible and frustrating...

Hi there,

finally we have heard something.

My finace recieved the whole package back a few days ago. There was a NOA in there dated the 5th November, (we sent the package on 19th October) the rejection letter was dated the 3rd December.

They rejected because they did not open a seperate envelope with the checque in and so as far as they were concerned we did not include a fee. They had started to work on the package because key pieces of evidence had been put in a seperate envelope. (i.e. evidence of my flight over there in July and bank statements showing I had withdrawn money whilst there)

So even tho there was a NOA with our case number on they repeatedly told us they could not find any record of our package.

My finace phoned and emailed numerous times and they just kept telling us to wait.

They have also said we have lost our file date, so now we need to start again.

Hey ho, onwards and upwards!!!!
