Are K4's only applied for when you are filing an I129 for spouse or fiancee? Kids have an approved I130 processing at NVC can they qualify for a K4 alone? The current wait for cr2 interview assignment is 10 months after case complete.

I beleive that K4 is applied for at the same time a K3 is applied for. Just like K2 is applied for with K1.

But I would do a little more reading about that.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Was an I-129F filed for the spouse? If so was the child/children named on the I-129F? K-4's are derivative beneficiaries of the K-3 nonimmigrant. If an I-130 was only filed for the spouse and seperate I-130's for the child/children then they can only apply for a CR-2.
