The timeline for F4 petitions from the Philippines is so long there is a possibility that the children will nearly be adults by the time the petition is approved. If that happens then the children will not be able to come. They must still be children.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Robert87, do provide your timeline as in when was the I-130 petition approved? Based on the kids age and the year of the petition approval, it will give an idea..

the 1-30 form was filed march 1993. so far the priority dates for november is 1991. though it we are expecting retrogression process by december due to the end of the fiscal year.. I am just helping my aunt with this because shes worried that when the time comes that her husband gets approve, and fly to US, while shes working right now at Saudi, that no one will take care of the kids... thanks so much for your help..

If the kids age are 8 and 5 yrs old as of 2010, then they will be eligible to immigrate with your aunt. Eventhough the visa retrogress by december, the kids can immigrate. Call NVC(1-603-334-0700) and provide the email address of both the beneficiary and the petitioner and then you can update the information of your aunt and the kids. They can be included while filing the form DS230.

i have a question. we did sent an email to the nvc with the format they asked us too. and all they said was since our priority date is not yet current. they have no other updates. so does it mean that the case is already at nvc? when do we exactly received the ds230 form? will that be when the priority date is current? i am confused. i thought that when the visa priority is current, its when they gather all requirements for the interview. we have not heard from the nvc requesting the ds230 . thanks..

Looks like you have not read the link i provided..

If you call NVC and provide your USCIS case number, you will receive the NVC Case Number..Then NVC will take the email address for both the petitioner and the beneficiary. Once the Priority date is to be current, then NVC will contact (usually 6 to 12 months before the priority date is current) for payments and forms DS 3032 & DS230. To make your processing faster with NVC, you can use Online Payments and emails to interact with NVC. With NVC, You have to be proactive than reactive..
