Interesting you ask... I was wondering the same thing. How do I know when the NVC get's our papers?

I have seen it take up to two weeks to be entered even though most times they are there pretty quick... no worries, once they log it in, they send right out to the embassy... Just enjoy the weekend! This will be the last Thanksgiving you spend here alone :)

@ last Thanksgiving alone... lol. I hope it's my last one one alone!

Pura Vida!

After NVC completes the processing on your case and forwards it to the embassy, the petitioner will receive a letter in the mail saying such.. You can call and ask if the file is there if you want, though. Just give them the EAC or WAC number USCIS assigned to the petition.
