Both here: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_bring_your_foreign_spouse_to_live_in_the_US

and here: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/LingChe_NVC_ShortCut

it is suggested to call the NVC and give email addresses for both you and your spouse. It states after doing this all correspondence from the NVC will be via email. I have not seen it mentioned in any discussions I have seen. Has anyone done this? Has it worked?

Thanks, and best regards.

hmmm... Does not sound like it is worth doing. You can already send email to NVC if you have your case number, and include the applicant’s name and date of birth and the petitioner’s name and date of birth in the email. What would calling and giving them our email addresses do for us?

You get correspondent from NVC faster versus waiting for the snail mail which could take a couple of days to weeks pending where you live.

Citizenship next step!
