Yes and put a star next to it and explain on an additional sheet that it is fiance, or put fiance in the relationship to applicant portion.

Are you doing this yourself? What is the reason for needing the I601? Have you spoken to an attorney to make sure the fiance qualifies for the waiver?

Have you checked out the forum at immigrate2us.net they have tons of people that are filing waivers. Getting a waiver written correctly is not a simple thing. Just filling in the form is not what they are looking for. Go over to that board and you will find tons of help.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

The I-601 request may not be required as brokenfamily mentioned. What is the specific reason for the request?

davey, in other post on different thread OP fiance has a 3 year overstay. Definitely a waiver case. Its a 10 year bar. Depending on how many entries and exits it could be even more complex, multiple EWI has to wait 10 years before they can even file for waiver.

Like other poster mentioned, the I601 is very complicated and much more than a form to fill out. OP has been advised to visit i2us.net... although I kind of wish everyone in this forum would stick around and we could get a more active I601 discussion going on here... :)

I should have mentioned .. Op should get an attorney consult as well.
