Does USCIS tell you what biometric place you have to go? Or can you just go with the letter to any of your choosing? The reason I am asking is my son may be in Florida when we get our biometric appointments and we would like him to take it there rather than have to fly back here Pa. to have it done. People take about walk-ins so could he do that in Orlando Florida? Can we also just walk-in here in Pa rather than wait for the appointment date? Sending our I-765 today so I imagine we will get an appointment in Dec or Jan.

hello, i don't think it would be a promblem, go thereto orlando fl, take your asc appointment notice, and bring your permanent resident card,passport, or driver license,or a state issue i.d the address application support center uscis orlando 6200 lee vista blvd suit 600 orlando fl 32822, you can walk in the guard signs you in, he may ask about your appointment he may go to a superoviser, if there not busy thay take your finger prints and photo 10 minuts finish,, good luck

You can try to go to a different location. Try it before the actual date as an early walk-in and see if they process it or not...

However, the others are correct, they provide you with the location, date and time...

I did it for my AOS in Chicago,IL.

My office is in Cleveland,OH but we were in Chicago at the time. We tried to do walk-in on an earlier date and were told to come back on the scheduled date.

When we showed up on the scheduled date a week later they processed us no problem.

Might depend on the office though, so I would try to do an early walk-in just to test the grounds.
