When I supossed to recive a case number at NVC?

NVC send by mail the package right?

I tried to call to the NVC but they didn't answer.

Thanks for your help

As you don't have a time line which would really help for us to know when you sent in Petition for 129f and have you received NOA1 and NOA2 can't really answer you till we see a time line. If you are referring to packet 3 for beneficiary they will send by email if you gave it to them.

We sent the documents to the USCIS on July 22nd and they recived it on July 29th, but the case is still in initial review.

What is NOA1 and NOA2?

The NOA1 you received stating USCIS received your petition. NOA2 is received after your petition is approved and sent to NVC. You can find more details of the process in the Guides Section here. Please update your time line. Thanks.

Possibly, maybe not likely. There isn't any definitive timeline to go by. Your petition is estimated by Igors list to be approved within the next 2 weeks or so. igors list is a good " guestimation" somewhat.

My guess would be planning a wedding on Jan. 22, 2011 would be a very tight squeeze to make.

There is alot of info here about the K-1 process and embassy specific information. Since you do not know what NOA1 or NOA2 means, might I suggest doing ALOT of reading and searching.

As replied before your NOA1 is the receipt you got from USCIS which you have cool. Now you are waiting for your NOA 2 approval since you were received in July it is 4 months now but you may not hear anything till at least December so planning a wedding in Jan mmmm might be stretching it a bit far I would plan for Feb/ March if I were you then no crazy rush. Just my opinion of course. But please do read the guides on here and on the USCIS site for processing times.
