Hi room :) Does anybody knows about if it is possible to use the USCIS case number to call the NVC regarding the case status thank you and good luck to everybody :)

Yes, if a first time caller, you use your USCIS case number, if you can actually get through on the phone.

Try to e-mail them first, if you really want answers. The phone angle is not working.

Next time, post your NVC queries on the NVC topic. Cheers!!

For K-1 petitions do not enter your case number on the automated phone system. It will say it is not on file. You will have to speak to a person. They can tell you if it has been recieved. They will say it is in administrative processing if they have it. Do not worry, that is what they call their normal processing. It can go into further AP, just ask them.

At least that is how it was for me a few months ago. Good luck.
