just a quick question on the fly if anyone knows. For a sponsor / co sponsor - can a passport scan and print out suffice along with a driving license copy too, when sending the AOS package?

we have originals - but are reluctant to send them until duplicates arrive. will they be acceptable, as I have to send these items to the US consulate in London.

Just a copy (preferrably color) of the passport data page will do. Driver license not needed. Were you really ordering duplicate passport and driver license?

Sorry i should have explained a buit better. Im using a phone you see - with tiny keypad!

No, my wife and her father were going to order duplicate birth certificates for this stage. But if we can use copies to prove their citizenship and also that they live at the same address that would be superb.

So they can do color copies of birth certificates, passport (biographical pages) and driving licenses to show their address. they should suffice?

I suppose the driver licenses would be helpful as evidence they live at the same address but not really needed. They are signing affidavits under penalty of perjury that state their addresses as the same. The petitioner has already provided evidence of citizenship, so only the cosponsor or joint sponsor needs to provide evidence of citizenship at this stage. Either a copy of the BC or passport will do. No need for both.

Its easy for you now eh - your poor wife has to undergo the stress of the final stage.

I'll heed your advice if successful after the interview. For me now its traditional English food - pie and chips and a bottle of orange juice....thats where I went wrong!

I started becoming young after NVC stage. When I looked at the mirror, some lost hair started re-growing. Blond hair is now becoming my natural hair color. Glad I am not the beneficiary. Otherwise, I would have been forced to submit new pictures at every stage whenever the appearance changes in order to avoid RFE on the photographs due to the structural changes

Oh ok Richi, i got worried in the beginning, i think have information and documents that my wife don't have about herself lol, i let her have her own passport just because she needed it to fly back home
