This morning at 3:30 am I received an email from the NVC which stated the following, and haven't been able to sleep since.

"The NVC has received the requested Affidavit of Support form (I-864) for this case. However, we are

still waiting for the Immigrant Visa Application (DS-230) and corresponding civil documents for each

traveling applicant to be returned to National Visa Center for review. You will find the DS-230 form

along with complete instructions for submitting the civil documentation required for this case at

www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov under the Applicant Document Processing link.

We urge you to send in the DS-230 form(s) and required civil documentation for each traveling family

member in one package to the National Visa Center (NVC). Sending the information in separately may

cause delays in the processing of the case"

However I sent my DS-230 on the 27th of October which got there the following week. (USPS delivery confirmation etc). As many of you will probably know I'm stressed to the gills. It doesn't help that the email got sent on a day that I can't contact them directly to sort things out. So I did the next best thing and called the NVC AVR to check on the status of things, and the AVR said the following. "The NVC has received the checklist letter response on Nov 8th". Now I'm just beside myself in confusion. Does this mean that they have received my DS-230 and this RFE was sent on accident?

If so why am I getting the email today if the documents were received on the 8th. I'd obviously call in and talk to an agent but they're closed today. So I'm hoping to get some sort of an answer from all of you wonderful people :)

Thank you in advance for any replies.

:D, let me figure something out with you too to ease your mind even more, when did you send the AOS ? and do you know what date they received it, if the date they received your AOS is not November 8th then this is certainly the checklist of the Ds-230.

Just a little update:

The AVR as of Friday said "Case complete as of November 18th. Please allow 8 weeks for further instructions." (along those lines.) Thank you all for your wonderful support on this specific post. It really helped to set things at ease. On monday I got through and just double checked to ensure it was indeed there (my IV package) which it was.

Again thank you!
