I became aware of Keith’s political contributions late last night. Mindful of

NBC

News policy and standards, I have suspended him indefinitely without pay.

He broke the rules.

MSNBC has heartburn over him contributing to campaigns but they think nothing of putting him and Madcow in the front desk doing election night coverage.

I don't know... did FOX have Hannity in thaT seat, I guess that would be the equivalent.

I agree with John Stewart who has been critical of MSNBC trying to combat the obvious political propaganda of Fox News Channel by doing the very same thing. I'm encouraged though to see MSNBC for standing behind some kind of standard.

I agree with John Stewart's writers who haves been critical of MSNBC trying to combat the obvious political propaganda of Fox News Channel by doing the very same thing. I'm encouraged though to see MSNBC for standing behind some kind of standard.

All Politics aside, I suspect players inside MSNBC are recognizing they have to break up the Olberman/ madcow party, it is not winning viewers and they have become the mascots for the network.

THey would be ok I guess in a contributing role but they are way to prominent (not to mention cartoonish) around that network.
