Is hard to believe anything after this big mess. Until my NOA2 will be in my hand I will not believe nothing :bonk: :bonk: We have the chance to have our papers in hands of professionals at CSC and this give us hope. The last notice from TSC was with wrong name on it , and they are professionals?

Cip

remember our cases from CSC to TSC were transferred on Nov 2 and until Nov 24th, TSC could not even put them into the system :innocent:

who still want to go to CSC :bonk:

may be this is the solution: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/294623-does-nebraska-service-center-process-i130s/

i don't see your rationale behind saying "probably TSC will transfer them to CSC"

didn't they come from CSC to TSC?

The announcement states that they "have transferred a large number of these Immediate Relative petitions back to our California Service Center to take advantage of resources currently available to immediately process these cases."

probably they should have sent them to Nebraska Service Center, will the CSC be clogged up now due to these approx. 36,000 applications coming back to them? if so what will be that effect on October, November, December and January 2011 applicants?

Hmm, that seems possible, but CSC seems to be pretty efficient with these kinds of cases. Also, if they really do adjudicate all of the cases by March 1, they would only be delayed by a few weeks (and keep in mind that only October cases would be reaching their 5-month mark in March anyway).

I think CSC is the only service center that could handle such a large transfer of these kinds of petitions. A transfer to anywhere else would probably result in the same nightmare all over again.

now will it not flood the NVC? and slow things down for others? ripple effect. what if NVC overloads and starts taking another 3 to 6 months to send them to consulates?

if you are saying CSC is the only SC that handles that huge volume then didn't they get transferred to TSC?

Do you mean why were all those petitions transferred to TSC in the first place? I believe there was a surge in petitions at that time that CSC wasn't able to keep up with (someone else can probably give more details about that). And I'm not saying that CSC can handle anything, but it is better equipped than the other service centers to handle this kind of volume (which you can see when you look at the processing tables that USCIS releases... for example, in November 2010, TSC completed 400 cases while CSC completed over 19,000). Again, they say they are sending cases back to CSC "to take advantage of resources currently available to immediately process these cases."
