in an effort to get make sure I had the forms done exactly as require well, it seems I filled the check out wrong I put uscis and not US department of homeland security. any one know how long before I get it sent back or will they by chance cash the check and proceed with my petition.

They will likely send your packet back to you, giving you an option of refiling with the correct name on the cheque

I am guesiing they will cash that check and proceed. We will see. If they are going to return it or cash the check it will happen soon enough.

Somehow I wrote the same thing on my check, and it was cashed no problem. :whistle:

well good news check cashed NOA 1 emailed. reminds me I should check my mail box to see if hard copy was mailed.

They are not too particular about the name on the check. :lol:
