THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANSWER, I MADE AN APP. WITH MY LOCAL OFFICE FOR 12/12 (INFOPASS) THIS IS 2 DAYS BEFORE MY BIOMETRICS APP. SO LET'S SEE WHAT THEY SAY. THANK YOU AGAIN.

One thing to remember is that FP is done at Application Support Center.

For example, my local office and the office for FP is different too. I was confused too... on why they were sending me somewhere farther from my local office...

Tampa office (where I will be going for interview) is like one minute drive from my work and like 10 min from my home.

The office where they do FP was different location = ASC.

So make sure you put that into consideration too...

Since you are in WPB area.. the ASC for that would be USCIS Application Support Center 9300 Belvedere Road Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411

Hello everyone

I noticed that some people have a "walk-in" fingerprinting. does that mean that for N-400 applicants, you can have your biometrics taken anytime before the appointment they give you? I am getting ready to send my application very soon. I am not a Nov. filer, but I decided to ask this question here because this thread seems the most recent active one. You MUST have your biometrics letter in hand. Then you can walk-in early to your service center and have biometrics done. I can only speak for the Atlanta office but my wife did this for removal of conditions and for the N-400 which is processing now. Our appointment date was 11/19 and we walked in on 11/10. Some service centers may not allow this so you might want to look around on the net to see if anyone has done this at your service center.

Your case has been transferred to a local office and an interview will be scheduled. You will be sent a notice advising you of the date and time of your interview.

It has been exactly 30 days to date since I sent my application.

A bit off-topic, I just want to ask my N-400 Nov family here..

I have 2 pending I-130 applications for my 2 boys, and I read from here that if I become USC before my kids are able to come here to be PRs, I cannot petition for them to be a derivative ( dunno if this is a correct term). Someone said they should BE HERE when I become USC, and NOT AFTER, for them to be automatic beneficiaries ( automatic USC)...And basing on the trend, I will be USC before I can get them here. It's like saying I shouldn't have filed to be USC yet...Im asking cuz if they become USCs immediately, it will shorten our journey, which you guys all know, is taxing, both in strength and finances. Aside from the fact that they are so far away and it's been taking its toll on me..

Sorry I need to ask you guys..Been checking out the USCIS website, and the more I got confused..Pls enlighten. Thanks

My original FP date was Dec 18th, and since I did my FP early, I will probably get my interview letter before Dec 18th.

For future reference, early FP does expedite the process.

Congrats...

I think Applications sent to other centers are processed faster....I sent mine 1 week before yours to Texas.....Texas is probably slower..but Im excited to know that our Nov line is moving.....just a mater of weeks now for more of us to move...

Maybe there aren't a whole lot of N400 applications in OH, and that's why it's moving fairly fast? I guess we'll see what date will be in that interview letter. :dance:

I checked September and October ones too and it appears Texas is way behind for moving the files through...
