Hello Friends

Just wondering if USCIS send all the evidence pictures, chat logs, phone bills, letters, etc to NVC and then NVC sends all that to Consulate or they just keep the evidence for their record and at the embassy ( consulate ) a person being interviewed has to establish the bona fide marriage all over again to the officer by brings all the evidence with him .....

Our case is not received yet by NVC by the way but i like to understand every aspect beforehand

Thank you very much

They pass it all along (at least it was the case for me). I know because at the end of the interview, they gave me back some of the photos, chat transcripts... that they didn't want to put in the brown envelope for the POE. Those docs I got back were the ones my fiancée sent along with the I-129F to USCIS so yes they travel all the way. I don't know if USCIS and/or NVC keep copies of the docs. I would say no, otherwise they would need a storage facility the size of Texas to keep all the petitions over the years.

That said, they can still ask you for more documents at the embassy if they consider what they got isn't enough.

Good luck on your journey

Bruno
