and its biased (just because he got stung) saying to get rid of K-1 visa's is just wrong....

he makes it sound like that everyone involved in the k-1 process is trying to scam....

how would you feel if for some reason visa's being banned came about?

I mean there are loads of us in it for the right reasons and if there did ban it, loads of the legitment ones would be left heart broken

think there would have already thought about banning that as well if there were to ban the K1 as really (if am right in thinking) its just the same process only that your married.

Banning the K1 is definitly within USCIS powers to do, however eliminating CR1 is not. The supreme court has routinely upheld that it is USC right to marry who they want, when they want. Since the supreme court upholds a USC right to marriage then other governing bodies would have no power to take away a persons right to be with their spouse.

Since a K1 is a nothing visa that does NOT go through same process as CR1 it can and it should be eliminated.

CR1 is vastly different from K1, it is a VISA which includes green card. K1 only allows you to enter the USA, nothing more. Upon entry if you want to stay you must marry in 90 days and then apply for green card. CR1 grants entry, and residence within the USA including the right to work in USA.

Now a statement that will inflame many, K1 is nothing but a tourist visa.

Because I am a little confused - what exactly are you going through as it pertains to this crappy "article"? I hesitate to assume, but if some idiot writes an opinion about how the K1 should be done away with - I fail to see how that really affects you at all?
