quick question about G-325a photos

Sorry for my spree of random questions lately, I do try using the forum search :)

Is it necessary to put date of birth on the back of the G-325a photos? The I-130 instructions just say to print the persons name, but this guide >> http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_bring_your_foreign_spouse_to_live_in_the_US

..says to write date of birth on the back of each photo too.

Follow the guide - http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-130instr.pdf

Using pencil or felt pen, lightly print the name (and Alien Registration Number, if known) on the back of each photograph.

In general, people do not receive RFEs for providing TOO MUCH information (I haven't heard of it happening ever). I don't typically advocate excess, but the time and effort involved in this one extra thing is so minute, why not do it??

K-1:

January 28, 2009: NOA1

June 4, 2009: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 11, 2009: Wedding

AOS:

December 23, 2009: NOA1!

January 22, 2010: Bogus RFE corrected through congressional inquiry "EAD waiting on biometrics only" Read about it here.

March 15, 2010: AOS interview - RFE for I-693 vaccination supplement - CS signed part 6!

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

ROC:

March 1, 2012: Mailed ROC package

March 7, 2012: Tracking says "notice left"...after a phone call to post office.

The passport style photos have nothing to do with the G325a. They are required with the I-130. Follow the I-130 instructions.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
