It's the People's Republic of California. Stupid California Republicans nominate two former CEO's. I would be surprised if the last Republican Congresswoman left in the state keeps her seat: Mary Bono Mack

Meg has some seriouls PR problems that she caused herself. Carly was just a horrible horrible choice. She has no political experience, wasn't a standout in the academic world, and is rated as one of the top 20 worst CEO's of all time. But it seems California isn't the only state with a dearth of quality candidates.

Not here either. We will most likely have a Republican governor, but then we have for the last 4 terms anyway. Our Democrat Rep, Peter Welch, wil run away with it and so will Pat Leahy. Hang on to your hats...I will vote for Leahy! I have worked with him on a couple immigration issues and also on the new Menedez-Leahy immigration bill to make YOUR immigration process easier (I don't care for the rest of the bill)

I disagree with Leahy on just about everything, and he knows it, but he is a big stick in Washington and there is no way that the people of Vermont are better off with a new Republican than with our uber-powerful Dem (even if he is in the minority party)

The VSC IS the VSC because of Leahy, one of the largest employers in Franklin county.

But the fact is, that Dems will lose overall, big time.

You wouldn't believe the media push up here. All the tv and radio commentary is going big on Boxer. The buys are about 3 to 1, Boxer to Fiorina. Everyone is forgetting there is a Governors race, Boxer has so sucked all the air out of everybody else's campaign.
