Lost EAD

Natasha's purse was "compromised" at work and when we were out shopping tonight she found someone elses drivers license in her purse and her EAD missing. (She was using it as ID and didn't take it out of her purse). Thats the bad news the good news is on the 18th of October her 2 year conditional got approved and today 22nd October we got the notice. So am I correct in saying that the EAD is now obsolete and the Greencard acts as work authorization? Also at the end of 2 years when we file to remove conditions and are sort of in limbo until that happens is employment authorization still granted?

Correct. You won't get another EAD during ROC stage - once you file, a NOTICE OF ACTION will extend her status for a year (Work and Travel).

Make sure to get the SSN card without any writing on it as soon as she gets her green card. In that case, SSN and a Drivers License are sufficient proof for employment - and the employer can NOT choose which documents they want to see - like GC.
