My wife's AOS was just approved yesterday, and the card is being prepared currently

We are planning to travel at the end of November, so we should have the card by that time.

When we leave the country, do we just need her passport and Green Card? Or, do we need her Advance Parole documents too. (I believe she just needs her Green Card, just checking)

Also, when we come back, since we will be traveling together, can she come into the US Citizen line with me, or does she have to go to the Permanent Resident line, while I go to US Citizen line? (I actually don't remember if there's a separate line for Per Residents, so correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks!!

AP is an interim benefit... becomes useless once the alien becomes a resident

When returning the alien can go in the US Citizen & PERMANENT RESIDENT line.. no such thing as a USC ONLY line

Not an AOS question ,.... moving thread

YMMV

Yep! Just take the passport and green card. Make sure you stay together in line and go up to the booth together. You also only need one set of customs forms since you are traveling together. I learned all this the first time we traveled after getting the green card. Congratulations, and have a great trip!
