Hi, I have a 2 year conditional greencard right now which has an approval date February 16, 2012.

I want to verify if I am correct in thinking that I have to submit my Removal of Conditions starting Nov 16, 2011- Feb 15, 2012?

I'm planning to submit it around December 2011. Is that a good time?

Thanks!!

I have read on here that you must file ROC within the 90 days of that date and not before. I am sure others will add to this but I have read this over and over again. Not 90 days before but within the 90 days. I worked out 18th November so December is fine

You are required to apply for ROC within the last 90 days of your GC's validity. As barbarajlw said, your eligibility starts Nov 18, 2011 but as long as USCIS receives your petition before Feb 17 2012 (which is the day your GC expires), then you should be all set.

Your status will automatically be extended for 1 year once they receive your petition and then you will wait for their decision.

As Barbara said above, as long as it's within 90 days of your green card expiring, and not before. Filing in December next year would be absolutely fine.
