By Nov 10, I will be outside the processing time. NOA date was May 10, Biometrics were done 7/12. Last update was

July 13. Is there a special procedure? Special phone number? Can be done via e-mail? Needs written inquiry by mail?

Do I need to schedule an Infopass?

Would appreciate some helpful information.

Your NOA is good for a year. You can call and inquire about it.

What you can do if you're within 90 days from your 3 year residency anniversary and still no green card is apply for N400 - that forces adjudication of I-751 at the N400 interview.

Once 6 months are up, then you can schedule an infopass and have them look into your file. I would recommend that over calling the misinformation line to get answers there. You can try that first prior to going for infopass if the location is far from where you live.

07/06/11 .. Received e-mail notification of application acceptance

07/06/11 .. Check cashed

07/08/11 .. Received NOA letter

07/29/11 .. Received text/e-mail for biometrics notice

08/03/11 .. Received Biometrics letter - scheduled for 8/24/11

08/04/11 .. Walk-in finger prints done.

08/08/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Placed in line for interview scheduling

09/12/11 .. Received Yellow letter dated 9/7/11

09/13/11 .. Received text/e-mail: Interview scheduled

09/16/11 .. Received interview letter

10/19/11 .. Interview - PASSED

10/20/11 .. Received text/email: Oath scheduled

10/22/11 .. Received OATH letter

11/09/11 .. Oath ceremony

After Nov. 11 you can call and ask for a service request, contact a Senator or Congressman to see if they will help, or make an infopass. None of these will garauntee quick results.

The other option is to apply for citizenship as milimeto suggested.

uscis.gov under contact us. Number should also be on your NOA and bio notice.
