Chasing up an expedite

So my wife was able to call and speak to a tier 2 this morning about our case. She was told we had had something mailed out to us requesting info about our marriage / the two of us.

Ive a feeling because the f************** so called immigration specialist - I wont mention him by name - just ohrid travel, new jersey. hes the owner!

He was recommended to my wife to save time and hassle. He filled in a question on our i130 incorrectly, and said you dont need photos or bank statements, just your divorce doc and copies of your passport will be fine.

I could murder him. I emailed him and sent him pictures of our wedding. And a bank statement. I asked if he included them in our petition. His reply was ......'NICE'!

Its like dealing with a special needs version of Borat!!

So Ive just written him a new letter saying he will refund the money we paid him and we no longer need him.

I told him we were moving the case forward as quick as possible.....his reply was 'there is no way to do this'.

So maybe I have been dreaming for a month and all this expedite stuff is just a dream. Either that or this macedonian travel agent is a genius!

Now, if you'll excuse me I have a 4 o clock at the London Consulate to watch Empire Strikes Back!

Those specialists/lawyers most of the time dont give a ######..get their retainer fee and you wont hear from them. I got copies of everything that was submitted, and our lawyer was pretty on point in regards to what's required, because I double checked against the requirements myself off the Govt websites.

Is this a specialist or an attorney? if he's just a 'specialist', unlicensed attorney, you're gonna have a hard time getting your money, get your wife to file with the BBB in the states...we had people like that running around in Canada that were 'specialists' but provided no guarantees or accuracy. You were probably better off paying Loto $500, cuz Loto knows everything.

He's a clown that knows jack! Some Macedonian travel agent. He was recommended by the Macedonians that live next door to my wife lol. Quelle surprise!

I wrote him a really strong letter 2 days ago. he wrote back saying he would refund the money no problem if we werent satisfied, and he'd have no further dealings with us. Id pay him not to be involved anymore.

I think he sent out the petition, g325a's, photo for id, adivorce cert and birth certs.

Hopefully if it is an rfe, it'll be in the mail today and we can get it sorted asap.

I have no idea..all I've heard from the Tier1 Christy talked to is that if it's over 14 days..you need to call and demand to talk to a California, because it's outside of their normal process/request times for an expedite request.

Call in and see if they need an RFE..or check your account on the USCIS webpage. Might show there.

In my situation..they told my wife that if they required any further information they'd contact us..so, if they haven't directly contacted you to request further info..this might be a good thing. We're waiting till Friday to raise hell, until then..we're hoping an NOA2 shows up in the mail this week.

You have more patience than me man, Im frustrated though cos of the circumstances really and the emergency. Yep, if its an rfe it may be a good sign, hopefully it can be faxed.

We're not within our 14 days yet..plus it makes it easier that I go visit every 2 weeks and stay for a week..you're way the hell over there...Mine is a 4 hour drive. Only issue is timing the visits right so I dont show up on a week when she's on her period, lol.

Im wondering whether the rfe - if it is that, as they want further info on our marriage, would they want an explanation or proof of my overstay or would it be the lack of evidence submitted by the clown at the travel agent?

I actually called the uscis - tier 2, i dont lower myself to a 1 anymore, im sick of incorrect answers!

Request for initial or further evidence was mailed out on 7th.Once thats dealt with, it'll resume processing I think. I hope.

Although today hasnt gone by without an email or two!
