hi guys, sorry to always bring up these questions.. i had my medical today and met a girl who apply for fiance visa too, so i asked her some questions about evidence she have.. she showed me stack of emails and letters (she said their lawyer told them to have at least 40emails with her) so i got worried, i told her i just have about 20 emails, cos we talk on IM everyday so no need to send email unless its needed.. she said they are not valid even "call history". so, anyone here who passed the interview that just had few emails and used IM conversations and call history thru internet and not really phone records as their evidence?? i don't even have a single letter from my fiance as our mail here is so bad, just 2-3 cards and some of them are lost so no sense sending me unless he use fedex.

i feel very upset that i haven't thought bunch of emails were required and IMs are really not strong evidence..

i kinda feel nervous, i hope my results tomorrow is fine :clock:

You already have plenty of emails. Chinook and I submitted fewer emails than you are planning to submit. It was not a problem.

The consul officer will enjoy looking at your pictures more than shuffling through your emails. Just make sure to include a few pictures of yourself at the beach in your bikini, and the consul officer will forget all about your emails and phone records.

I showed them IM chats that my husband and I had at 3 different dates. They're just as good proof as letters and cards. Also printed out a log of our MagicJack calls (had to capture the screen using Ctrl+PrtScr and paste it onto a blank Word document).

When it comes to the interview, never underestimate the value of a piece of paper...hope she brought it anyway.

Typical stereotype. " My lawyer says blah blah blah. He's right, you are wrong. I will be the recipient of a visa, you will not" Wasted money for a false sense of security. I've seen more denials, and RFEs for folks with lawyers, than those going on their own.

You're fine with what you have! Good luck on that interview. Bring home the PINK SLIP!

aww thank you!! we hired a lawyer too but he didn't mention to have at least 40 emails.. he just told us to continue gathering evidence while waiting until my interview date. though i'm not sure if he made a mistake by considering a dating site (Filipina Heart) as a marriage broker, but i figured out what to say to the consulate in case he ask about it.. i will just be honest for every questions they might ask. anyway, i realized we don't have control on everything that happens.. we can't do anything if the consulate don't "like" us :D

i'm just glad that my fiance keep assuring me that he will keep trying until we get visa.. at least i get confident about that ^^ but of course, i wish i'm one of u guys that had successful petition :)
