I had my interview on Valentine's day in Downtown Los Angeles office. Since my case is really simple, the interview only took less than 10 mins, but I had been waiting two hours for they called my name.

The officer walked me into his office , he let me close the door behind me and have a seat, He asked me to turn in the Passport , DL and Green Card. then he verify my name , DOB , SSN and current address. after that he gave me a piece of paper and asked me to read question No 1 , when is Columbus day? I have to write down the answer on another piece of paper. he asked the 6/10 questions, I got 6/6 , so no further questions. he reviewed my N400 and question if your parent is US citizen, I said Yes , and he asked how old were you when your parent become USC. I said it was around xx or xx years old , he gave me a question mark face, I explain we didn't live together. then he understood it. after all he asked me sign and print my name on two parts of N400. he took my DL Passport and Green card to another room to make copy. and said he will give me the recommended for approval letter when he come back. Finally, I got my letter and he congrats me. he told me I will receive the oath letter within 30 days by mail.

now. I am looking forward to next step. thank you guys.

Hi VJ Friends... please put me in red as I am now a US CITIZEN... no more USCIS... next stop Passport, update drivers license & register to vote, update social security card... And then I can exhale.... No more going to the mail box every day... YEEAAHHHHH!!! well after the passport, that is :-)

Oath Ceremony took about an hour, however, instead of starting at 7:30 it started at 8:30. I got the new digitized naturalization certificate, and they used the biometrics picture.
