Okay, I want to try and give as much information as I can the first time through, so to avoid an RFE if possible. So, what I'm wondering is is if the information that I have would actually be enough proof to proove we've met and have an ongoing relationship.

Proof of meeting:

My passport stamps for February Visit

My celphone bill showing roaming in the Netherlands during February

My february credit card bill showing a hotel charge in Amsterdam during February

My frequent flier record showing flights from Chicago-Amsterdam and back in February

5-6 Photographs of both of us (most not in 'recognisable' places, just at home, restaurants, etc.)

His passport stamps from July-August Visit

His boarding passes / luggage check-in passes for July-August visit.

His itinerary translated by him.

4-5 Signed letters from friends and relatives verifying that we've met in their presence.

Proof of Fiancee':

Letters of intent

A copy of the email/reply of me asking him to marry me.

Proof of ongoing relationship:

Celphone bills showing international calls/text messages (not complete, as in not all months had applicable calls/texts)

Skype log showing just about nightly calls to one another using Voice over IP.

This is pretty much all I can think of that we actually have and could send. Do you think this would be enough? Do you have any other suggestions? We have never lived together, so joint bills don't work, and he didn't spend anything on his credit card while here in the U.S. as I was footing the bill so he'd have money for school. What happens if they send you an RFE and you simply don't have any more information you can provide them?

Sounds like abundant proof of meeting. However, to my understanding, you don't have to provide proof of ongoing relationship at this point ... only of having met. I think you save that for the interview.

*laughs* It actually isn't all that bad. It's a couple of text/data transfers from me sending pictures and text messages while I was in the netherlands. Not nearly as expensive as actual calls.

:hehe: Whew.. cause I know that my phone company charges me $2.30 or something near that per minute using my cell phone in Taiwan .. and its very cheap to call Taiwan comparatively to other countries..

My lawyer had me provide the following:

-Photos of the two of us in front of country specific landmarks.

-Plane tickets/boarding passes.

-copies of my passport pages.

-letters/emails between the two of us.

The translation had to be done by someone who could certify the translation. That means they had to stamp the document and sign it. Not sure if your S.O. can do that.

That did the trick.

There was another topic on here recently that noted that the translations just had to be done by someone who would sign a letter saying they were fluent (conversant) in both languages, something my fiancee' is. The actual government website doesn't say anything about having it stamped or notorized, just that the person has to be fluent in the languages.

Arazia,

As someone else said, you could save some of your proof for the interview stage. All I sent in with my k-1 application was 3 photos, boarding pass from trip in FEB and train tickets stubs from our traveling around the Netherlands. Specifically the ones from the airport to his home. With the date and time so it could be compared to the airline ticket arrival time.

You have a lot of really good things on your list. You should be fine. Best of luck. Are you planning any more trips to the Netherlands? I'm trying to decide if I should go back for the interview. Hopefully, the interview will sometime in the next 30 days.

We may go back to the Netherlands after Harry moves here, but I don't hae any plans on going there until after this process is over. To be honest, I do have worries over his parent's reaction to us persuing this. I'm sure I'm not the first person to be dealing with disapproving parents on their foreign fiancee's side of things.
