Did you know you can't enter Israel with the stamp of an Arab country?? That's why most people travelling the area either carry two passports or ask the border patrol people to put the visa stamp on a separate sheet.

Yes, you can. I travelled to Israel with a co-worker who had just visited 3 or 4 Arab

countries and we had no problems entering Israel.

Hmm, a friend of mine travels a lot in the Middle East and has warned me about this. Maybe it's just if you have a German passport or a non-US passport.

I think Fisch is technically correct but it's one of those things that is up to the discretion of border control and is rarely enforced with ordinary tourists and business travellers -- i think the same is probably true vice versa. I travelled through Egypt-Jordan-Israel-Syria and then back again no problem.
