You have to get from both countries she lived in plus Canada. If they are in another language they have to be translated by certified translator into English. For example, Hazel lived in Taiwan for 4 years so we had to get police clearence from both Philippines and Taiwan. I don't think you need them for NVC , she needs to have them at the interview at the US Embassy. Unless they changed it?

Hmmmmmmm, I better tell Hazel to send her police clearence certificates to me express mail in case I need hehehe.

I paid my AOS fee yayyy only bill Ive been happy to pay, also I have a question. I make just over 23k a year 125% for me as a household of 2 (me including my wife) is $18,212. I am thinking of getting my father or my friend who makes $$$$ to be a joint sponsor just in case, I read of others making similar to my salary were denied for financial reasons. My main question is when I send in the AOS packet do I submit the joint sponsor I864 as well as mine in the same package or 2 different packages? thanks so much for the help.

You include it with your's . But don't go by what happens to others because you dont want to make yourself look weak if you qualify on your own. They look at your last tax return. They look at how many dependants you claimed. You claimed yourself, so thats 1 and if you claimed any dependants, like your wife etc etc. Thats what they go by for deciding your current family size. You did the I864ez? If you have any savings, life insurance, ira, 401k, include a copy of that , give last statement etc. You own your house? if so send a copy of your deed. As long as your income is over the poverty line then your good. Don't worry. I been thru 2 interviews and when they pulled out my i864 all they did was look at line 6d on my 1040 income tax form, then at line 37 on 1040 and said "your ok". you can have a completed additional i864 with you if your really worried. Have your co-sponsor fill it up and notarize it and have it with you at interview and if for some reason you get denied for financial reasons then pull it out and submit it right there. You dont want to bring in a co-sponsor unless you absolutly have to.
