WOoooowwwhooohh!! My (L) proposed me last August 28th!!

We have known each other for 2 years & met online :innocent: ..

It took a year for us to meet in "real life", and since november 2009, I am flying back and forth to spend quality time with my fiance... (He's not able to seeme in the Netherlands that often because of his busy job, he is a directional driller).

He also came to the Netherlands last May, and will spend Christmas with me and my family in the Netherlands. :star:

I spent the last 2 months in the US, and flew back home last week. 2 days before I left, he proposed me, and since then I am smiling from ear to ear, all day every day.. :D

We downloaded the forms and he is going to fill these in anytime soon. I am going to the City Council to take care of my birth certificate and I also have to take care of my record saying I haven't commited a crime in my life ever. :innocent: I am a good girl! lol

It's pretty annoying to fly back and forth to the US, and it sucks worrying about leaving all the time. We both can't wait to wake up next to each other in the morning and not worrying about leaving again. Most people take that for granted!! :blink:

Anywhoooo, it's going to be a long process, like most of y'all! Hopefully within 8 months, because we are planning to get married in July 2011!! Our families are so happy and they can't wait!!! :dance:

I would like to keep in touch with people who are also dealing with the first stage of their K1 procedure, and tell each other what we have archieved along the way.. & also about your insecurities throughout the process & the interview and all that!!!

Seriously, I am the most impatient person on this planet, and it's hard living so far away from each other... I'm glad I'm luck to see him every 2 months. (L)

And what are 7 months, compared to a life time together?

If you wanna keep in touch, please send me a message (F) & hopefully, whenever one of us has their visa approved, we can all be happy for each other!!

Congrats Duchess! This is such an exciting step for you guys! Make sure you read the guides to prepare yourself for the whole process. The FAQ's are handy for tips and the search function is useful too if you have a common question. If you've gone through all of those and then you're still unsure of something, feel free to ask! Most people here on VJ are really helpful and just want to see you succeed.
