I am leaving CR tomorrow for the states these are the docs I have compiled for NVC. Am I missing anything from the beneficiary? I have two originals of everything just in case...

1. DS-3032

2. DS-230 for wife and two stepkids (part 1 singed part 2 not signed)

3. 2 passport photos for NVC and 2 for medical.

4. Certified BC

5. Ceritifed Marriage Certificate

6. Ceritifed Divorce Decree

7. Letters from Lawyer signed and notarized from biological father stating kids can immigrate permanently

8. PCC but I think it will be expired by the time I need it. Only good for 3 months. (will get new one if needed) CR is only one day to get it.

9. Copy of biological page of passports

Am I missing anything that anyone can think of...Thanks for the double check. I think I have read through these docs 400 times.

items 4-8 - make a photocopy of those, include originals PLUS the photocopy, when you submit into NVC.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Where is original or certified copy of the marriage certificate?

Loto

Loto who will write on the DS 3032 the applicant or the beneficiary(me)? Also I need to now(an advice) if the original documents must be sent to NVC or certified copy of them. I'm scared to send the originals to them. :help: I have prepared the PCC, birth certificate, pictures, DS 230(who will sign the DS 230?), wedding religious certificate, wedding certificate, biometrics from my passport. Next week my brother in law will go back to the States and bring to my wife the documents. Please let me now if I have them all.

If your brother in law lives in the same household as the USC you need to file a I-864A if he lives in another household file a I864. He needs to provide all the same documents as you do on your 864.

3 yrs tax returns or transcripts

Employment letter

6 months paystubs

Also make sure you get a additional original for your records in case theres a problem at the interview. Also I have been reading you should get a copy of his passport bio page to prove citizenship.

Cip,

I&G's response is correct.

Since your BIL lives in separate address, your wife will file I-864 and BIL will file I-864. BIL is going to entirely sponsoring you, without combining your wife's income.

Any sponsor must be domiciled in the U.S and must be at least 18 years of age. That's why a passport, GC, birth certificate or any other document that lists his age and address would be suffice.
