1.i know that iranian citizens dont have to have their police certificate with them when they go for the interview,BUT every person i have talked to who applied with a lawyer told me their lawyer advised them to take it with them, just in case.now i called and checked, every police certificate issued in iran, expires within a month,if they somehow ask for it in the embassy will having an expired version be an issue?considering i have to go to turkey a couple of days earlier than my interview to get medical and all,i wont have access to get a new one

2.is it safe to say since my country has no relations with the states, the NVC stage for us will be a very quick pit stop?

3.im trying to estimate how long after i post my packett3 ill get informed about our interview date.for turkey the average is 5 months prior to the date,is estimating by the average timing like that accurate?

4.my fiance is active military, and he most likely WONT get deployed while waiting on our interview date.if we call the embassy and tell em that he might get deployed ( yes yes thats a lie but we all know how hard waiting on the last stages is ) would they check his platoon and all to see if he is telling the truth?

5.some say you can find packette 3s online,is that true?if so can someone link me the packette 3 for the US embassy in ankara

TIA

So you think that your wait is any more important than any one else's that you would jump in front of with that lie? It isn't a long wait because they are sitting around twiddling their thumbs, it is because their are people waiting longer than you ahead of you in line.

That is not to say that I do not fully support those who are deployed getting an expedite, I have no issue with that. But to lie? Come on now.

to be honest with you, yes,i have seen canadian citizens getting their job done ( im not hating on canadian citizens dont get me wrong, its a government issue not a nationality issue with them ) even tho they sent their file and stuff after i did,i am getting mistreated because of my nationality.

PS: its not a lie,its a matter of might or might not,his next duty station IS NOT the first station they would deploy troops from

This is incredibly ignorant. You are not getting mistreated because of your nationality. Everyone's process takes a different amount of time. You cannot look at someone's timeline and expect yours to take the same. There are many, many Canadian citizens who have waited an incredible amount of time for their immigration process. To suggest they are getting special treatment over you is ridiculous.

You said yourself in your original post that it's a lie.

how is ignorant, when its the truth,it will take up to 9 months for me,just because even the simplest things are not accept just because of my government or nationality. no postal service from iran is accepted,so at the very best i will have to send my packette three to the fiance to send it to the embassy to begin with

also,i made a mistake, the chances of him getting deployed ARE very slim, still not zero

so even TO ME,to be honest, its a white lie

In order to get a military expedite, your fiance must submit proof of imminent military deployment. they simply will not take his word for it. Letters from CO's must be sent.

Canadian citizens do not receive special treatment. I waited 178 days for my NOA-2 alone. that's special treatment?

Good luck

Take a look in the Canada forum sometime. There are many people who have taken nine months or more. You are not a victim. You aren't being screwed by the system. Everyone's case is different. Some take three months, some take nine.

You can try and justify it any way you'd like but I highly doubt anyone here is going to tell you that it's a good idea to lie. And of course, they're going to ask you to prove it, so it doesn't matter anyway.

Suck it up, wait like the rest of us.

it has honestly been only 20 days, since you got your noa,you dont know much about wait yourself

a little word of advice, try reading and comparing time lines, take yours for example, and mine, and compare them in about a month, youll see what i mean

That is why I directed you to the Canada forum. Take a look at how long some of them have been waiting before you try and play it off as if we get some kind of special treatment. My timeline has nothing to do with anything. I've only been waiting 20 days, which is why you don't see me posting and complaining about the wait.

And the difference between you and me is, in six/seven/eight months time, I'm STILL not going to be on here asking how I should lie to speed up my process.

It's been almost two months from your NOA1. There are many Canadians who waited four.

Talk about comparing timelines, if you bothered to look at mine you would notice that my fiance's (now husband) visa took 10 months. He is from England, not Iran.

So what is the difference?

In all honesty Mrs.McKeever if I were you I wouldnt lie to get ahead of the pile because USCIS they are some smart and tough cookies so it would probably be in your best intrest to keep telling the truth all throughout you dont want to give these people any reason to deny you. I know the wait can be crucial but maybe find something to do to occupy your time. now to answer some of your original questions at this point there is no gurantees your stop in the NVC will just be a pit stop they have been selecting files for random AP a lot lately mine included. So it may or may not be just a pit stop for you. Also as far as the pkt 3 go some countries have them online I am not sure about Iran you will have to check the DOS website for Iran to see if they have it there.

Also Coconuts you calling the opinion(her feeling discriminated against bcuz of nationality) of Ms.McKeever ignorant was so harsh. Everyone has a right to there opinion and it is only right we disagree without name calling. :ot2:

Talk about comparing timelines, if you bothered to look at mine you would notice that my fiance's (now husband) visa took 10 months. He is from England, not Iran.

i have no clue about england or their embassy ( even tho i have read their interview experiences ) and their timeline.

so im not gonna comment on that, but you cant disagree that the way it seems, even after the second notice of action is they just wanna ignore iranian petitioners or beneficiaries.

the first thing that comes to mind is,i will have to find an alternative way ( in my case using a third country ) to send my paperwork to the embassy, because i just remembered fed ex doesnt work between iran and states, and our mail is o good,so ill have to ask someone to do it for me,thats like the most basic thing

The definition of ignorance is to lack knowledge. That is clearly the case here, as harsh as it may sound. If any research had been done, even just here on VJ, it would be clear that nobody is getting any special treatment and the OP's timeline is nothing out of the ordinary.

dont worry you will not be posting and complaining about the wait, cause you wont have any.

and as far lying goes, youre not a military member OR know how up in the air you are in the military.

while it might seem thats his chances of getting deployed are high, still they still exist.i suggest you do your homework before you judge anyone
