Payment to USCIS?

We are about to send off our I-129f this week and as my fiance and I are both students, our fees will be paid by his father. I am curious if there will be any issues with my fiance sending a cheque with his petition that contains his fathers name and not his own? Any experience with this and does it matter in the least? He will be handling most of the fees (Interview, Medical, AOS, etc. as a loan to us) and we don't want delays because of something so silly.

Honestly, I doubt they care where the money come from as long as they get it.

Whoever writes the check, make sure it is made out to "U.S. Department of Homeland Security" and not USCIS.

My mom wrote the check out for my fiance's K-1 because I did not have a checking account at the time and I thought it would be better to track with a personal check then using a money order. No problems whatsoever. Just make sure you have the beneficiary's name and the type of form submitted on the "for" line.

I don't think you will have any problems, you should be fine.
