We just put Deceased in the 'City and Country' box. The petition got approved w/o any RFEs. If I am not mistaken, we also included the copy of the Death Certificate.

As quoted put deceased on 325 and yes you need all divorce decrees and the annulment document. They are very strict on that trust me I know my fiance was married 3 times too and he had to send all 3 decrees.

Divorced !st November 2012.

Married only 2 years 1 month

the bad news, is that you need certified copies of divorce decrees on all prior divorces / annullments.

The good news is that you submit a regular PHOTOCOPY of said 'certified divorce decrees' with initial I-129F filing.

If any deceased spouse (deceased whilst married) a photocopy of the death certificate is sufficient.

Later, on interview day, these 'certified copies' must be presented.

When submitting photocopies on initial I-129F submittal, ensure that any 'seal' or 'stamp' is visible in the photocopy, else you'll get an RFE at USCIS.

re: the second marriage (ad in paper) - if common law marriage, with 'common law divorce' then you'll need a bit more documentation than just an 'ad in the paper' - but if not 'common law', if actually a divorce decree, then include the photocopy of the divorce decree in the I-129F submittal.

re: fiance's dead mother - no extra paperwork required.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
