Hi Ron - there isnt realy an average length of time - some go quick, some go slow. The advertised USCIS processing time is 5 months - if you ring them to enquire about your case before the 5 months is up they'll tell you to go away lol. If you get approved before 5 months then consider yourself lucky :)

There are still March and April filers that haven't gotten their NOA2 yet. I know this waiting time is terrible, but hang in there... The previous posters were right in that you cannot call USCIS anytime soon, but if you don't get your approval by October, i would call the congressman to make an inquiry on the case. Best of luck! Yes Ron be patient it is only just 3 months and as said in previous post USCIS tell you it takes 5 months, but if they are ahead of schedule then it will be sooner. If you have registered for a case file which you can open yourself on the site you can opt for email and mobile alerts. We did that and was great cause as we got the text alert we got home to check email and the news

of the next stage. So you have a little time left yet. I know it's hard but it will happen. Chin up
