Not nice of her for doing that....but had it been a human baby she had thrown in the garbage I doubt there would have been a 1,000 member facebook page to protest, probably wouldn't have even made it on the news either.

I don't know why people are outraged. The cat is fine. The owner said he thought it got in there itself until he saw the video. It's just a cat people! It's not like she threw a child in there!

Maybe the passer-by thought she was doing the cat a service,

pet the little ####### & put 'em where he can find the leftovers

of last night's salmon steak.

In Lebanon the cats live in our neighborhood dumpster and they are nice and fat. We never keep animals in the home

i was shocked the woman will not face criminal charges of any kind... this was animal abuse.

i'm guessing we'll find out the cat was terrorizing her flower garden (cat pee/poop kill plants) or cat was sharpening it's claws on her landau roof or terrorizing the birdies in her yard.

some people just dont like cats this is why it's a good idea to keep a pet indoors with you rather than allowing it to roam the streets for 15+hrs (it was missing for 15hrs, how much more before that was it outside?!).

if this was the case (i.e. if this woman had a beef with the animal and had already spoken to the owners with no resolution) then her next option should have been to call animal control so it can get a good home with owners who would keep it under control.

WTH ever happened to compassion and common sense.
