I go gaga over some of their bedding but a cushion cover alone is about $50! And don't even get me started on they're $5000 sofas that I adore. :P

Gingerpants - I really like each of those dresses for a civil ceremony! The veil is cute, too. I could NOT pull off something like that, because I'm just not cool, hahaha.... but it definitely looks really nice, and I'm fairly biased towards pink, but I also like #1! Any of them would be perfect. And they're very reasonably priced, too!

I haven't decided on a veil or not, but I do like the classic veil to clip in my hair. But again, I'm just not sure I can pull that off, haha. I think I might go with a flower in my hair, instead. Veils are outrageously expensive for what they are!! At the bridal shop I got my dress, veils were like $200. As if I'm paying that for a piece of tulle. I haven't decided yet, but if I do, I'll be finding a cheaper one!!

And yes, ygr, we got our NOA2! We thought Oct 20th was just a touch, but it turns out they just didn't update the USCIS website, and my fiance got NOA2 in the mail earlier this week! It was such a nice surprise! Now we wait for Montreal. We are hoping to get interviewed by March.

Thank you :)

I'm not sure if I'm cool enough for it either :P , I just wear what I like.

Veils can be ridiculously priced. Have you tried and vintage or consignment shops? I bet you could find some nice barely used ones for a fourth of the price. Etsy and Craigslist would also be good places for deals on this sort of thing. And I really like the simple flower on the side to. It always looks classy and effortless. :)

Oh congrats on your N0A2 (I can't remember if I had said that to you yet)!

I don't think I would go to a consignment shop... I'm not a snob or anything, just paranoid, haha..... but it is a great idea! I'll most likely end up going with a flower in my hair. very simple :) my dress has lots of beading at the top & on the train, so maybe keeping it simple is better.

Thanks for the congrats! I was definitely starting to get really, really antsy. 141 days later, I stopped freaking out. haha... now we wait for Montreal! I'm hoping I can keep some of my patience for this round of waiting. Thankfully I have 4.8 million lesson plans & subsequent grading to keep me busy!
